Company hiring may have slowed down but online jobs thrive and online job ads continue to rise. In a report compiled by the Conference Board Help Wanted OnLine and online job board Indeed.com, demand on online jobs increased in January.
The report also revealed that internet job postings increased from 107,000 in November last year to 382,000 in January this year. Surprisingly, California was the source of the 67,000 listings.
The trend report showed that hospitals led the listings with 45%, education with 22%, retail at 16% and real estate at 14%.
Real estate postings were notable since its 58% plunged in January 2009.
Unemployed Americans may try their luck in online jobs as great things come in the least expected places.
