While originally, this was supposed to be a rant board for the day to day trials of your average worker (meaning me and Willa), the scope of the issues affecting the labor industry has been more vast than we anticipated so we decided to incorporate current events and legal advice into this blog, so as to be more useful to our audience.

    I have a question: recently I was removed from a post by the security company I work for, for calling off too many times……so they say. One of my coworkers doesn’t call off. He just doesn’t show up 2-3xs a week. And it was reported to the company, yet no one has said anything to him. Also, there is no paid vacation,raises, or sick days. Actually, if you get sick they threaten to fire you if you don’t come in. These are just a few things that I have mention. There’s lots more! What are my employee rights?
