David Carradine’s Widow Sues French Film Company for Wrongful Death

The wife of deceased actor David Carradine has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the French company who was handling Carradine’s film before he died. The actor had only been in Bangkok, Thailand for 3 days when he died.

The suit claimed that during the production of the movie “Stretch”, MK2 S.A., the French company, failed to provide proper services to protect him. Allegedly, aside from providing the actor the best amenities, the company also promised to provide an assistant to help him around Bangkok but also left the actor behind on the night he was found dead.

The suit claimed that the defendants were negligent in failing to follow industry standard and provide Carradine with a proper assistant during the course of the filming of the movie in Thailand.

The 72-year old star was found dead and hanging naked in the hotel room.

Anne Carradine, his widow also alleged that she has been having difficulties collecting on the insurance policy that the French company was required to have for the actor.
